| "Yes, now, let me show you, and then you can try." Embershade instructed, already scenting a piece of prey. A squirrel, apparently. She dropped into hunters' crouch and stalked it. Once she was close enough, she pounced on it. Too late. The squirrel heard her and sprinted up the closest tree.

| Mintpaw carefully studied the squirrel then pounced. But she moved to quickly and she stepped on part of a twig lying on the ground. "Dang it! Stupid twig! I almost had it!"
