Froststar leaped on to the rock and stood in front of the clan. She yowled out, calling for a meeting and looking around curiously.

Wingedkit ran to where the clan was gathering, leaving behind a half eaten fish and a confused Willowkit. The she-cat gazed up at Froststar with joy, her emerald eyes shone as she settled near the front of the clan.

Willowkit heard yowling of the leader outside the den and twitched her ear, glancing up from where she was eating a fish as Wingedkit dashed over. Confused, six-moon-old brown tabby licked her chest a few times and trotted over slower then her friend, settling down and looking up at Froststar.

OOC: Stop trying to make fetch happen, Frosty.

IC: Reedheart padded up from the warriors' den. He had felt like he could have slept for moons, and being near the outside of the warriors den during Leafbare wasn't very fun. Rather grumpily, he fluffed out his fur and sat near the edge of the clearing. Spotting the two kits, he smiled a bit. They'd be apprentices. His eyes glazed over though, thinking of how excited he had been.

Spotting the two older kits in the crowd, Froststar nodded to herself and went on. (Why doesn't anyone ever post in these things? ;AAA;)
"Today we celebrate the apprenticeship of two kits. Their ceremony is just another reminder as to how strong RiverClan is growing everyday. Wingedkit, Willowkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Wingedpaw and Willowpaw. Wingedpaw, your mentor will be Reedheart. I hope that he will pass down all he knows on to you. Willowpaw, I will be your mentor." She mewed, looking down at the freshly made apprentice, smiling softly.

Her gaze flicked over and settled on Reedheart. "Reedheart, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have shown yourself to be strong and brave- both of which I have seen with my own eyes." She recalled the badger incident. "You will be the mentor of Wingedpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." She concluded, chanting out the two she-cat's names when she finished.

The RiverClan warrior's heart skipped a beat at Froststar's unexpected words. An apprentice for him already? We don't have many other warriors... he stood up, paws numb, and walked over to Wingedpaw, touching noses with the newly named apprentice. Reedheart cast a glance up at Froststar, nodding with a small smile.

Willowkit could hardly believe her ears as Froststar started reciting their apprentice ceremony. She was tense with excitement, leaf green eyes glowing as she received her new name. Willowpaw. It was a good name. It was all... Apprentice-y.
Froststar was her mentor!! It was all she could do not to hop from paw to paw in eagerness to get started. What an honor- to be trained by the leader herself! She lifted her head up in pride as they started chanting her new name, casting an excited glance at Wingedkit. They were apprentices!!

The apprentice had a bright smile plastered on her face as she stepped forward. Wingedkit felt a surge of pride rush through her as the leader spoke, she flashed a glance at Willowkit. Once Froststar finished speaking, announcing that her new mentor would be Reedheart she stepped towards the warrior gentle touching noses with him.
