Graykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Graystream padded into WindClan's camp hoping to fine Graykit quickly to begin his Apprentice Ceremony.

Graykit padded happily towards the clearing. His fur was well groomed and sleek. 'Hi, Graystream.' He purred

"Hi, Graykit." Graystream meowed, his voice strong filled with happiness. "I'm here for your Apprentice Ceremony. Are you ready?" He asked him slowly as he flicked his tail toward the center of the clearing.

'Yes.' Graykit replied, jumping up and down.

Graystream stood tall and looked around the clearing, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a Clan meeting." Graystream voice was loud and strong as he continued. "We are gathered here today to make this Kit an Apprentice." He gazed down stedily at the young Kit, "Step forward."

Graykit stepped forward, his fur bristling with excitement.

"Now, until you recieve your full Warrior name, you shall be known as Graypaw." Graystream froze for a second. At hearing the name Graypaw his mind flashed back so many seasons ago to when he first became an Apprentice and Mistpelt had given him his Ceremony. "For the time being I will mentor you until there is a Warrior sutible for an Apprentice in WindClan." He explained, "Get some rest soon, I'll be here early tomorrow for your first day of training." He meowed kindly as he gave him an encouraging smile. As he was leaving, he looked back at him and thought he saw something out of the ordinary, but he dismissed the thought. He flicked his tail in farewell as he left.

Graykit purred happily. 'I'm Graypaw now!'
