Hardkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Shadowstar had already visited the nursery to get Hardkit up as she made her way to the large rock at the other side of the territory, leaping on top of it gracefully. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" She yowled.

Dawnlight appeared from her den and sat under Jagged Rock waiting for the meeting to start.

Greypaw padded out the apprentice den, rubbing her eyes groggily.

Hardkit woke up, tired as ever, and mindlessly wandered out of the nursery after Shadowstar.

Shadowstar glanced down at the large kit with a smile. "We have gathered here today to make this kit an apprentice. Hardkit, from now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Hardpaw. I will be your mentor," she mewed, hoping that she would be able to keep up with three apprentices. Jumping down off the rock, she went to touch noses with Hardpaw.

Hardpaw proudly did the same, looking back on all the fun times he might miss with the other fellow kits.
