Rainpaw and Hopepaw's Hunting Patrol

Sparrowflight yawned, flicking a breeze-carried leaf away from where it had landed on the tip of her tail. The cold Leaf-fall winds were already here, soon the first snow would fall. Oh joy. Then the sooner her apprentices could hunt, the better, with more mouths to feed this Leaf-bare especially. She waited for Hopepaw and Rainpaw.

"Hiya Sparrowflight. what's we doing today?"

Rainpaw leapt out of the apprentince den. "Hello Sparrowflight! What'll we do today?"

"I'm going to teach you to hunt like a real RiverClan cat." Sparrowflight purred, "So, let's hurry and get to the river." the she-cat padded off.

"Yay!" Rainpaw exploded with happiness. She followed sparrowflight to the river

Sparrowflight led the two apprentice down to a soft riverbed. "Pick your own spot, but don't stay too close to each other. I want you to peek over the water, but at an angle your shadow doesn't show. It'll scare the fish away. Understand?"

Rainpaw put herself in a spot where her shadow wasnt near the water. She did as told.

Hunting is based off Dice Rolls, when can be found when posting. (Clicking Preview will take you too the full posting page.)
When you hunt, you have to roll the 'Chance Dice'.
After you roll, a post will appear after yours with Mistpelt with a number. Compare your number to the chart. You guys will have to compare your number to the 'New Apprentices' part, since that's what you are. :P

Here I'll give an example...


Sparrowflight picked a spot inbetween the two. "The key is patience and the flick of your paw." she explained. "You have to keep your eye on the prize, wait for that moment, and then flash your paw across the water like lightning. Follow your instincts." Sparrowflight stared into the water. Silence. A few moments later there was a large splash.

The member 'Italy' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Chance Dice' : 4

Now, since I got a four, I look at the chart. 3-6 is a kill. So I caught the fish. :D Understand?

"Get it quick so it doesn't slip away." Sparrowflight explained quickly, grabbing the silvery scaled creature with her claws and biting down on top of it's head, ending it's life quickly. She smiled. "Thank StarClan for every prey you have caught. It gave it's life to feed us... Now both of you try."

"Okay." Rainpaw focused, staring at the water. She waited...
Rainpaw saw the fish. She swiped... She felt something on her paw. It slipped away. Rainpaw did the T_T face for a second.

The member '~Rainpaw~' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Chance Dice' : 1

"You missed, Rainpaw." Hopepaw teased. "Lemme try..." Hopepaw quickly swiped at a fish passing through the water.

"Alright, i think i might get it this time." Rainpaw waited for a fish in the water to appear. She swiped.... She proudly finished it off and set it down.
