Rainpaw's Hunting Patrol

Burnsorrow walked into the apprentices den with a slick straight face. "Rainpaw." He called. "It's time to go for your hunting patrol, come."

Pinespirit's ears flicked when she heard Burnsorrow. "Mind if Brightpaw and I join?" she mewed, swishing her tail.

Burnsorrow stared over. "Sure, as long as Rainpaw comes." He said, emphasizing Rainpaw's name.

Rain fell off a rock and walked over to Burn. "Uh, hey. Are we doing training today?"

"Hey can I come" Mudpuddle meowed. "I want to get some excercise"

Burnsorrow stared over to Mudpuddle. "Sure, just please don't distract the apprentices, you can talk with us and help the kits out with us if you want." Burnsorrow said in a low voice. He stared down to Rainpaw, "we are going on our hunting patrol today." He said with a crack in his voice.

Brightpaw heard the call for a hunting patrol and poked her head out of the apprentices den, looking out she saw that Pinespirit was with them and walked over.
"Are we going with Rainpaw and Burnsorrow," she mewed at her mentor.

Pinespirit nodded. "Since Dewdrop already did your Hunting Patrol.. at least you'll get more experience in hunting!" she said.

Brightpaw squeaked with joy, she wanted to practice her hunting again.
