Rainpaw's Border Patrol

Sparrowflight poke her head into the apprentices den. "Raaainpawwww~ wake up. It's time for your first day as an apprentice."

Rainpaw yawned.
Rainpaw started to mumble : "cant i just sleep a little longer..." "Okay fine" Rainpaw got up and ran over to sparrowflight

Sparrowpaw flicked her tail, drawing herself up straight. "No, you can't. Now come on." She walked away and flicked her tail. "Great -- So, from now on I want you up at dawn and waiting outside the camp entrance, understand?"

"Yes, sparrowflight" Rainpaw perked up like she hadn't just been sleepy.

Sparrowflight held in a smile and led the small apprentice out of camp. "Have you ever been outside onto the territory before?"

"Nope, but i cant wait to see!"
Rainpaw said a little more happy-fied

"Okay then, you're going to have to get your fur wet through, the camp is surrounded by a river. You had better get used to the water." Sparrowflight said and led her through the reeds. She padded through the river, which at her size, went up to her belly. "You might have to kick a little to get across."

Rainpaw closely followed behind sparrowflight. Suddenly she had an urge to jump in and swim in it. But she stayed put behind sparrowflight.
"Okay." she mewed

"Alright, let's go." Sparrowflight headed off for their first border, east of camp. "Tell me what you know about the other clans."

"I know they dont have fish." she said a little happily.
"I know that shadowclan use the dark to sneak up on us, that windclan can go super fast and catch rabbits, skyclan leap through the trees, and thats just about all i know"

"What about ThunderClan?" Sparrowflight asked, not stopping.

"Thunderclan? I dont hear that name around the camp much, so i dont really know at all"

"They are a little like SkyClan, they like to hunt in the forest, except in the ground in a bunch of prickly bushes and sharp shrubs." Sparrowflight twinged at the thought of the uncomfortable terrain. "And they're always trying to take Sunningrocks from us... You've never seen them, huh? Let's go look." The warrior led her to Sunningrocks.

"Okay."
Rainpaw followed a tail-length behind sparrowflight. She wouldnt risk getting lost here...

Sparrowflight sniffed around cautiously. "Go to those trees at the far edge and scent them... That would be SkyClan.
