Sootpelt was surprised when Story and the Star arrived. Her fur was drenched. She ran over to Story "We need to get to higher ground. This might not be enough." she mewed through the rain.

Frostfur lay in the warriors den.Her fur was drenched with water.She couldn't move.The water was over her muzzle.She gurgled and went uncouncious.

Sootpelt went to check on Frostfur again. She realized that her mother was under water. She quickly yowled "Story! Come help me please!" She went under the water and picked her up so her muzzle was out from under the water.

Story went to the warrior and tried to help her up. Snakefire was getting worried, the loners were here, but deadsnake was dead and there was nothing he could do.

Sootpelt and Frostfur were finally on top the rock. "Thank you." She mewed to Story. She shook the water out of her fur and sat near Story to try to get warm.
