Wolfkit's Apprentice Ceremony.

Featherstar lept to Tall Rock in a quick bound and yowled, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneathe Tall Rock for a Clan meeting." She licked her jaws, then motioned for Fallensoul, her son.

Wolfkit peaked out of the nursery when she heard Featherstar. Is it time already? she thought, is she calling for my apprentice ceremony?

Wolfkit walked timidly out of the nursery, and sat a little way away from TallRock. She was very excited, if this was her ceremony, but she didn't show it.

Raccoontail took her usual place under tall rock. She held her head proudly because she knew what it was and who it was for.

Fallensoul stepped up to the Tallrock. He slyly hid all of his pride, and replaced it with surprise.

Wolfkit saw her mother holding her head pridefully, and knew this was her ceremony. She got up and walked over to sit next to Raccontail. She looked over at Fallensoul. Will he be my mentor? she thought, remembering the small motion Featherstar had made to the tom.

Fallensoul glanced wordlessly at Wolfkit, then back to Featherstar. Will I finally get an apprentice?

Wolfkit turned her gaze from Fallensoul and looked up at Featherstar, waiting for her to speak.
ooc: can i go ahead and change my name to wolfpaw?

Featherstar smiled. "Wolfkit please join me on tall rock." She asked, continuing. "Today we gather to make this kit an apprentice. Wolfkit, you have earned this title, and from now on until you recieve your warrior name, you shall be know as Wolfpaw, and you mentor shall be Mistedclover." She said, calling the pretty she-cat out of the crowd.

For a moment, the camp was silent.
Fallensoul's ear twitched. One thought raced through his clouded mind: He was done.
The white warrior was not stupid, though. He knew he had to wait. Watch. For the right chance.

OOC: ... .__.

Wolfpaw padded up to tallrock and sat next to featherstar. She looked out across the cats, trying to find her new mentor, when she spotted fallensoul. He didn't show it, but she knew he must not be taking the announcement well.

ooc:i think u just crushed his heart feather...

OOC: O.O.........*looks at Fallen*............Um you do know Misted just became a warrior and Fallen's been waiting like forever right?

IC: Icepaw was late for the ceremony but caught Wolfpaw's name when he earned it.

"Wolfpaw! Wolfpaw!" he cheered. He saw Fallensoul out of the corner of his eye and sighed. I bet he's been waiting for a long time for an apprentice... he thought sadly.

OOC: At least there's a new Wolfy....except it's a girl....O.O
