Waspswarm nodded, pausing. "I have two brothers. Had, I guess. My youngest brother disappeared with my father not too long ago. I just have my brother now. Have... Have you seen them?" Waspswarm gave a quick description of her father and brother before staring at him expectantly.

Claret paused as the she-cat described her family. "Sorry, I'm afraid not. Probably a good thing, the city can be a rat's nest of problems. I hope they're not over there, especially not knowing the times that the catchers patrol or the Upwalkers' routines. Odd critters, and ugly too. A measly tuft of fur on their heads and their kittens look even weirder."

Claret turned his head towards the city, whose skyline was barely visible. The faded brick building that he started his journey from looked like a tick from where he sat. He stared over at the start of their lights, barely breaking the horizon, lost in his thoughts.

Waspswarm shook her head. "I've been telling Foxsnap they're dead for months, but he won't believe me. Still, he'd get really pissed if I didn't at least ask." She paused to follow his gaze off into the Twoleg city.
