Birds of a feather[C]

Finchspeckle was curled up in her make-shift nest, head resting on her sore paws while her eyes starred off into the distance. She was too tired to groom her pelt as she normally would, and her once beautiful pelt was tangled and dirty. Her heart ached to look at herself. The she-cat looked up as a clanmate approached her, carrying with him the scent of prey.

Eaglefly was one of the few still somewhat healthy windclan cats. He had been very lucky somehow and was not very sick. He wasnt sure how but the sickness just did not seem to effect him very much. Sure, he had a little sniffle here and there but nothing super bad. His poor brother kestle was very sick and that worried him a bit.

So he had been busy as he could getting food for his sicker clanmates.

He approached Finchspeckle and set what he had managed to catch by her It was a pretty small rabbit but it was all he had managed to get, with all the sick warriors he was one of the few still able to hunt so he could only go for the slow rabbits because of that.

"how are you feeling?" he meowed with a curious tilt of his head. He didnt know Finchspeckle very well yet but she did not look like she was taking care of herself recently, maybe he could help

Finchspeckle starred at the tom for a while before finally recognizing the voice. Eaglefly, a warrior who was much older than her, from Coyotegrin's litter if she remembered correctly. The calico pushed herself to her paws and gave her matted pelt a few weak embarrassed licks. To think that her clanmates would ever see her so pitiful... was this nightmare really happening? "I'm fine," she managed, and almost cried when she heard her beautiful voice come out all weak and raspy. This couldn't be happening!
