Laurelriver was bored when she spotted Moondrop. The gray-and-white she-cat was lounging on the ground in WindClan camp, so she was obviously in the same situation. Playfully getting into a hunter's crouch, the calico she-cat stalked towards her friend, before pouncing over her. "Moondrop," she mewed, tapping the she-cat on her shoulder. "Let's go out on a walk! We haven't hung out in ages!"

Moondrop"I've learned love is like a brick, you can build a house or sink a dead body with it" -T1 Warrior-
⭒✧ ✧⭒
Moondrop was fading in and out on consciousness, her green eyes drooping with exhaustion. She was avoiding going on any patrols at the moment, but there was little else she could think to do that would keep her awake. Her dreams had been filled with foul beasts and the dying screams of her clanmates ever since the wolves attacked them at the gathering, recently, so she'd taken to actively avoiding sleep. It proved more difficult than she had expected, but nothing much changed, really. She would pass out from exhaustion eventually and, when she did, she'd stand a better chance of spending her night in a dreamless slumber.
Still, the desire to stay awake did nothing to help with the undeniable fact that she was running on fumes. Her eyes kept slipping shut and as sleep tried to claim her, her head would drop, starling her awake once more. Once this cycle repeated for about the fifth time, Moondrop snapped her eyes open and shook her head with an annoyed huff. She had to get up and do something - otherwise she'd pass out right here. Suddenly, before she could entertain the idea any further, a shadow fell over her and she looked up, alarmed.
Right from one problem to another, it seemed. "heya." She meowed quietly, wincing internally at the guilt that spread through her. She'd been avoiding her friend ever since the gathering. She'd not been to one since and had been dodging interactions with Laurelriver day after day. Her friend had certainly noticed by now but, left with zero excuses not to join her friend, Moondrop couldn't say no. She got to her paws after a moment of deliberation and offered a tiny smile. "sure thing. lead th'way."

It seemed like Moondrop was still in a bad mood.
Laurelriver's grin quickly faded into a somber smile. She didn't know why Moonpaw seemed so... distant since the wolves. It made Laurelriver feel worse about herself - like if something she did was wrong, somehow. All Laurelriver could remember was saving Moonpaw from the wolf's attack, and that couldn't have been wrong. So why was she avoiding her?
Honestly, she was glad Moondrop had agreed to walk with her, though - at least that meant their friendship might not be dead yet.
"Kay, let's go!" she said, though with half of the enthusiasm it had before. As the two of them left WindClan camp, Laurelriver couldn't help but worry that something was wrong.
Once they were alone, Laurelriver turned back to Moondrop. "Could you... tell me?" she asked, before realizing that was not specific enough. "Is everything alright? I'm worried. About how you were doing, that you hate me now, that our friendship is slowly falling apart-" Stars, that was a dump. "Sorry. That might be... a bit much."
