Rookfire spotted Silverhawk in camp after coming back. He remembered having a good conversation with the tom a while ago, so perhaps they could do something together. "Hey, Silver!" he said. "Want to spar?"

Silverhawk’s ears swiveled back at the sound of his name being called. Not even his full name--only half of it. He turned to watch his caller approach and resisted the urge to pin his ears back. In what world did Rookfire imagine they were close enough for the affectionate shortening of his name? But Silverhawk just smiled kindly as the older tom approached. At Rookfire’s request, he noticeably brightened, sitting up straighter with a glint in his eyes. ”Oh, always,” he purred. Soundly beating this near-elder sounded like a fun time to him. Silverhawk shook himself out and rose to his paws.
Once he was standing, Silverhawk moved without warning. He lunged forward, snapping around to catch onto Rookfire’s scruff. He bit tight, though not hard enough to hurt, and planted his paws hard so he would not lose his balance.
Silverhawk used Bite and Hold, dealing 11 damage and costing 15 EP! Rookfire is Held for 2 turns.
In an instant, Rookfire got caught in Silverhawk's attack. It was an unpleasant situation in a real fight, but not an impossible one to get out of. And he still had attacks to fight back with.
The black tuxedo tried to slash (well, 'slash', since his claws were still sheathed) at his sparring partner's eyes, but his paw landed on the side of the tom's face. Well, that would deal a good amount of damage in a real fight, so that wasn't the worst outcome.
Rookfire used Claw on Silverhawk, dealing 12 damage and costing 5 EP.

A growl rumbled out of Silverhawk’s throat and into Rookfire’s neck as a paw beat against the side of his face. There was no real aggression in the vocalization; rather, it almost sound excited, thrilled by being struck. Silverhawk’s jaw tightened further, unrelenting, and he ground his paws harder into the earth for stability.
