The quiet apprentice sat flicking her tail side to side as she watched the early morning sun peak up over the hills of the moorlands of windclan.

She sniffed at the air, it was refreshing, cooler than it had been as leaf fall was quickly approaching them.

Today, she knew she had training with Falconpaw and Eaglefly was supposed to be the warrior on duty with them.

She had liked falcon back when they were kits, if for nothing else because her sister had not liked him and she wanted to inverse cream whenever possible.

She did like him for other reasons too she guessed, he had been nice enough to share his meal at the time though that was about all she remembered of him and didnt have much interaction with him since then. For the most part, she stuck to herself mainly being a quiet and shy apprentice.

By the time Eaglefly got to the meeting place he was yawning lots and clearly was running on zero to no sleep.
"Good morning... uhh right so for this hunting thing I will be with you but mainly its a test to see how you do on your own. I'll jump in only if you need but for the most part I am not going to be involved" another big yawn

Rainpaw wondered if he would even be awake for it. He looked like given the opportunity he would fall asleep in a nest.

She blinked unsure what to think of that other than that it looked like her and Falcon would be the ones catching things today.

(Eagle being mr aizawa for this topic just wants to take a nap in his yellow sleeping bag, Downie and I love mha)

Rainpaw glanced over at her fellow apprentice, she never knew what to say at all. She didnt like speaking and just gave him a little nod of 'hi'

FALCONPAW

Gonna make a heartthrob out of me...

Falconpaw was happy to go hunting with Rainpaw. He hadn’t talked to her since they were kits, but she’d been alright then. Shy, certainly, but it was kind of cute. And she hadn’t changed much since then. If anything, she’d just gotten even more shy; he hardly heard her say a word now. Aside from catching a few rabbits to show off, Falconpaw came up with another mission for today’s patrol: get a word out of Rainpaw. If he was really lucky, maybe he’d find out what made her laugh. That was sure to be a charming sound.

Falconpaw gave Eaglefly a quizzical look, wondering whether the warrior was even fit to lead a patrol, but he wasn’t going to complain. A half-asleep steward just meant more time to do as he liked. With their dismissal, Falconpaw flashed Rainpaw a smile. He stepped off--briefly passing close enough to her to flick Rainpaw’s flank with his tail--and assessed the moors as they rolled out in front of him. ”Today’s a good day for hunting. I smell rabbit everywhere.” He said after a deep breath in. Falconpaw looked over his shoulder to give Rainpaw another smile. ”So let’s get going, yeah?”

With that, he slipped down the rise, toward a clump of heather swaying with the soft zephyr through the valley. It didn’t take long at all for Falconpaw to spot a rabbit shuffling through the plants. When it paused to nibble at them, he gathered his weight and lunged forward. His paws hit the ground hard and he moved fast as bolt. In an instant, cat and rabbit collided. They rolled for a moment before Falconpaw came out on top, teeth buried soundly in his quarry's neck. It squealed and thrashed, but after a few moments, the rabbit grew silent and still. Raising his chin up to hold the catch high, Falconpaw trotted back to his companion with his tail flagging. After burying the rabbit in a safe spot close to her, he chirped to Rainpaw, "Pretty good, right? We can share that later, if you want."
