Honestly, it was a crime that he and his brother hadn't sparred yet. He wasn't sure how much Twilightpaw's mentor had taught him, but honestly Oleanderpaw wasn't really interested in actually training. He just wanted to hang out and managed to find a productive way to do so. They both needed to build strength and practice... Plus a part of him just wanted to make sure Twilightpaw could protect himself. Perchstar's death had reminded him that not only sickness could kill a cat. The elements, predators, and mere accidents could easily send a cat to meet their ancestors. While there was not much Oleanderpaw could do to protect his sibling from disease and fallen branches, he would make sure he would make it out if a predator, or stars forbid, a cat decided to sink their teeth into him.
Oleander turned to his sibling with a purr and a soft smile, playfully bowing into a loose battle stance. "Wanna try and land a hit on me, Twilight?" He teased, his ears pinning back in a dare. The effects of Perchstar's death still hung over camp, malaise clinging to cats like cobwebs, but Oleander wanted to inject fun here. He wanted a sense of normalcy, to play with his brother without death and duties clouding their minds.

Hold on tight to this time, this place...
Twilightpaw was happy when Oleander asked him out for a spar. He hadn’t done much of that yet with Larkspring, but that was okay. He found he didn’t care so much about winning, or even really about sparring at all, as he did spending time with his brother. He had learned very, very young that every moment was to be treasured. Twilightpaw intended to savor every instant of his life that he shared with Oleander, even if it had to be under the guise of training.
Twilightpaw regarded the bow with a quiet purr of his own. ”Try?” He echoed with a slow wave of his tail. ”No, Oleander. I don’t want to try. I want to succeed.” No further warning came before Twilightpaw dove to meet his brother’s bowed stance. He splayed his weight over Oleanderpaw, bearing down on him and nipping at the nape of his neck.
Twilightpaw used Bite, dealing 5 damage and costing 5 EP.
