Bitter Words for Sweet Hearts [C]

She had spent the last few sunrises since Sageroot had approached her trying to figure out how she wanted to go about this. She was new to her leadership, she didn't know the first thing of disciplining one of her cats. What would even be the best way to try to... Hm, saying she was wishing to 'fix' Sweetheart's behavior felt rude, but it was the honest truth. Sweetheart had proven herself to be self-righteous, uncaring of the cats around her despite having the very traits she spat venom at. But that still left the question of how to go about it - she didn't want to make things worse, to give Sweetheart ample excuses to keep this behavior up...Because sooner or later, a Clanmate would be in danger and she imagined that the warrior would sooner let those 'undeserving' to be a ThunderClan cat live than risk her neck...And that was unacceptable.

Her eyes narrowed as she spotted the she-cat milling around the camp, taking in a deep breath. In all honestly, she imagined she would have to be blunt. Sweetheart would respect no less - she was the leader, and she had to remind Sweetheart the code she was to live by...No matter how she had to go about making the she-cat swallow that bitter truth. Her attitude would not stand - she would earn empathy one way or another. "Sweetheart, a word?" she called out, approaching. It was technically a question, but she did her best to keep her voice steady - hard, to make it clear that denying it was not an option. Sweetheart was still welcomed to try, of course, but it would be a failure.

There was no getting out of this conversation.
