| (Sorry for the shorter post I mainly just wanted to create this before leo ranked up in his speedrun to warrior)
Rapidfire could not have asked for a better apprentice. Leopardpaw had learned hunting like a second nature to him and it was from a certain viewpoint. She enjoyed hunting still much more than fighting a trait she had carried over from her own time as an apprentice. She much preferred being the hunter rather than having to face off against another cat. Nevertheless, Leopardpaw needed to learn the vital skill just the same. In the very back of her mind she hoped she wouldnt lose a spar to him, that would be embarrassingly mistakeful, he already had showed he was semi upset that she was his mentor instead of his father so she was intent on trying her very best in this upcoming practice spar of theirs. There would be no letting him win at all.
She called for him and usually she did not have to wait long for the dilegent apprentice to be there.

Finally, they would touching on fighting. Leopardpaw had the feeling that his mentor wasn't quite a fan of fighting. Too bad for her, feelings had no place in the life of a warrior. If she wanted to nurse her feelings all day, she could ask Hemlockfox to take her as an apprentice, or she could retire as a queen. Whichever gave her more comfort. "Ready," The tom confirmed as he approached Rapidfire. A spar... she better not lose. It would be impossible, frankly, for her to lose, so if she somehow did he would require an audience with Father. ______________________________________ |

| She gave a short nod and began the lesson showing him the very basics of how to smack, how to pin and hold an opponent and how to use his windclan speed to his advantage.
After the very bare basics she faced him nodding, "alright, lets see what you have learned, no claws let me see what you have" she meowed with a nod and circled at him looking for an opening, she darted forward and smacked at him begining them off.
Rapidfire uses smack 8 dmg and 5 ep

Leopardpaw paid careful attention as Rapidfire went over the basic moves. He of course knew all of them before, but there always was something he could have missed out here or there, so he had to pay attention.
Once the lesson wrapped up, his mentor brought up the idea of a spar. He agreed easily. He did, of course, know that he would lose. Rapidfire was larger, stronger, and more experienced. But that was no excuse not to try. As his mentor landed the first hit-- he blamed himself for not dodging it, something he very well could have done had he been more prepared for an attack-- he swiftly regained his composure and surged forward to deal his own attack. Instinctively, he darted for her soft belly. He had practiced the belly rake with Laurelpaw several times before, and he hoped that this time his training would prove worth while.
And it had. His paws skimmed easily over his mentor's belly, where, had his claws been out, would have split the soft skin and brought out a large gash and a torrent of pain. Satisfaction coursed through him as he got back to his paws easily and turned to face Rapidfire, waiting for the praise she would surely give.
Leopardpaw used Belly Rake, dealing 10dmg at the cost of 10EP
