Fishing [OPEN]

Swandive led the patrol to the bank of the river, a contented sigh escaping her. The weather was nice and warm, and there wasn't a cloud in sight. It was a peaceful day... Perfect for fishing in her opinion, though there was rarely a day that wasn't. Swandive was simply happy to be out and about, dipping a paw into the cool water of the river before settling down on the bank. Blue eyes stared intently at the water flowing past her, and she was careful to angle her body in a way that her shadow would not fall over the water.

A flash of movement caught her attention, and Swandive's paw darted forward. Claws found purchase in silver scales, and Swandive hooked the fish toward her. This was a good start to the day, as she'd hoped.

Sprucebark followed without a word, the orderly tom had kept to himself mostly after Perchstars death and was not eager to change that now.

Luckily neither was his companions so far as he settled a ways away to fish as well. He watched the water flow by and felt slowly numbed by it.

A fish swam right by him and he did not even notice or seem awake enough to catch it as he stared out into the swirling bubbles
