Huge amber eyes blinked at the chaos the nursery had descended into. One queen denying her kit milk had spiraled into a tantrum, and when that tantrum had started it seemed that other kits had decided it was time to start their own, and those that weren't following the pack had decided to sew more seeds of chaos. A nip on a queen's heels, ramming into their denmates, tossing bugs indiscriminately into pelts... It was actually very fascinating to watch. Gorsekit lay on her side, wedged in a corner of the nursery so that she was as far away from the riot as possible while also being able to observe comfortably. Even with kits constantly bugging her, Nectarflower remained poised and beautiful, barely batting an eye as one of the toms- Thistlekit, she thought, slammed into her side and started screeching. Nectarflower was amazing, wasn't she?

Gonna make a heartthrob out of me...
Sure sounded like quite the mess inside. Falconkit was grateful to be outside, away from all the chaos. Even so, his nose for mischief wouldn’t let him steer entirely clear of it. He lurked just outside the burrow, ears swiveled toward it to listen to all the shrieking. It sounded like someone pitched a fit and chaos erupted from there. All it took was one bawl sometimes. It wasn’t long before nosiness got the better of him and Falconkit was ducking his head inside. It was, indeed, chaos: kits racing left and right, pitching things, crying with the full strength of their lungs… except one. Falconkit’s drifting eyes landed on the single body not engaged in the din. One of Nectarflower’s kits, tucked into a far corner. Intrigue had his whiskers twitching immediately.
Falconkit slipped inside, hugging the edges of the tunnel to avoid becoming collateral damage. Eventually, he reached Gorsekit, padding up close to her. He leaned down, near enough to whisper in her ear so he didn’t have to shout over the madness. ”Hey, Gorsekit. Why don’t we step outside? I bet it’s better than watching all this fuss.”

Gorsekit was aware of the figure skirting the chaos and making its way towards her, though she didn't pay it any mind... Until the figure was upon her, whispering something into her ear. Her head remained still as her eyes slid to look up at the kit. He was asking her to go outside with him? She normally only got those kinds of invitations from Nectarflower or her littermates, did Falconkit want something from her? Gorsekit's eyes went wide, though she didn't try fighting the tom. Instead, she nodded and exited her little corner, sticking to the tom's side as he lead them out of the den.

Gorsekit gave him a look as if he’d grown two heads, but she nodded. A nod was enough for Falconkit. He grinned big and swished his tail, beckoning for her to follow as he led them around the same path he’d taken to reach her. ”What was that all about?” He asked as they stepped outside, a laugh in his voice. The commotion was still painfully audible, even a few steps away from the den. He turned back to Gorsekit and squinted warmly. ”Feels a little better out here, yeah? I know I wouldn’t want to be caught up in that mess.”

Gorsekit lightly gripped Falconkit's tail in her mouth, using it as a guide through the mess of kits and queens. She wasn't sure if it was welcomed or not, but at the very least he didn't yell at her the moment they left. "It was crazy!" She mewed, finally finding her voice. "Snowykit stepped on Wormkit's mom's tail, then Wormkit tackled Snowykit! They both bumped into Swiftkit and then-" She wasn't quite sure what had happened next, just that they had all broke out into play fighting and screeches. It was all so interesting to watch, but after a while the sounds of shrill screeches and kits bumping into her had become unpleasant.
The tiny molly bobbed her head, releasing a reluctant smile. Usually she was reserved, but it seemed that she had forgotten to keep quiet the moment Falconkit had addressed her. "Y-Yeah, it does... And it wasn't so bad, watching all of it unfold was kind of interesting..." Gorsekit shifted her paws and turned from Falconkit. She had no idea what to do now that they were away from the chaos, just the two of them. Gorsekit turned back to the mess, considering padding right back into the den just to avoid being awkward around the tom. That was a right only her siblings deserved, after all.
