Hickorykit Kit \| Skyclan \| He/Him “Come on Peatie! Let’s goooo!” Hickorykit whined as he shoved his paws into his sleeping brother’s side. His other siblings were fast asleep as well as his mother. “I want to look at the sky before the stupid sun wakes up!!!!” His tiny claws tangled in his brother’s pelt. He threw his head back and continued roughly shoving his younger brother. A flash of blue caught the young kit’s attention and he quickly dropped down into Peatkit’s face, his was almost touching his brother’s. “I saw your eye open! So, stop faking and let’s go!” Hickorykit hissed as he jumped up and trotted to the den entrance. Two warriors were on night patrol and the smokey tom stuck his tongue out at them. The stars twinkled above him as he waited for his brother. A faint line of yellow was breaking over the horizon which meant the sun would be up any minute now. Peatkit had been in a rather peaceful slumber, his pink nose tucked under his white paws. A soft oof left his little lungs as his brother shoved his stupid paws into his ribcage. Maybe if he just pretended not to feel it, the nuisance would go away... “I saw your eye open! So, stop faking and let’s go!” Drat! Peatkit's eye had fluttered open in the ruckus, but he had hoped Hickerykit hadn't seen it with his head tilted backwards. No such luck, unfortunately. With a yawn that seemed to split his head in two and a stretch that shook the nursery floor, Peatkit stood to blink his icey-blue glare at the tom-kit who had woken him up. Hickorykit would surely find sticks in his bedding later. For now, he padded quietly to his brothers side, only a little tempted to shove him out of the nursery entrance. Instead of doing that, however, he tapped his pale orange brother on the shoulder with an equally pale orange tail as he exited. Hickorykit Kit \| Skyclan \| He/Him “Isn’t the night sky wonderful Peatie?” Hickorykit mewed. He liked looking at the stars, they seemed to dance in the sky as if no one was watching. Then again nobody was really watching. “What do ya think they’re doin up there? Starclan that is.” His orange eyes locked onto his brother. Was Peatkit wondering the same thing? He was quiet, that was for certain. Hickorykit turned his attention back to the sky; clouds covered the moon, and he strained his eyes in search of it. ‘Dang clouds!’ He lowly growled to himself. The faint line of yellow that was on the horizon when they first came out the den was now a broad stripe and a ray of sunlight hit Hickorykit right in the eye. “Ah!” He hissed, shoving his face into his paws. “Let go find something ta play with Peatie.” He mewed shaking his head and sneaking off around the den. There was a large tree in camp that was bound to bring some sort of entertainment into the toms lives!
