Peatkit sat outside the nursery, icey-blue eyes the only thing moving as he watched warriors and apprentices go about their day. He was content in watching, though he couldn't help but want to run out whenever an apprentice dropped a stick meant for rebuilding a nest.

He wouldn't, though. One of the warriors yelled at him for 'getting in the way'. He'd make sure to leave a maggot infested mouse in their nest later. There was a commotion from inside the nursery that had his head turned to peer at the entrance, curious, but not curious enough to call out.

Snowkit was as quiet as ever, remaining curled up in a ray of sunshine and scooting after it whenever it moved to a different spot in the nursery. The sun was nice and warm, he didn't even mind it in his face. It made his eyes seem everything behind his eyelids in a shade of pink rather than just darkness. He sighed loudly, but it was one of contentment, of peace, of-

His eyes snapped open and his head shot up at Hickorykit's voice. He blinked, his fur standing up at the sudden surge of adrenaline. A moment after Hickorykit spoke, his brother's words finally had meaning behind them. Oh stars... this attitude again? Snowkit frowned, then made an attempt to curl back up into a ball and drown out the noise. His efforts only lasted a heartbeat though, because he'd been in the nursery for so long with these goons he knew it was futile.

He sighed again, now annoyed, and stretched in preparation to be up for the day. If there was one thing he loved doing, it was snoozing in the sun. There was no way he was going to be able to do that now though. He watched as Hickorykit brought the stick inside and he shook his head, his shimmering white fur reflecting the light in a pearlescent sheen. "Yeah, when we get in trouble we have all of the bosses and warriors yelling at us Hickorykit. We're not as untouchable as you think." His voice was still tired, but he tried to sound as haughty as possible to prove a point. He yawned and smacked his mouth together, realizing how thirsty he was. Where were the mossballs of water?

A squawk escaped poor Peatkit's startled throat, desperately kicking at his brother who had him in a rolling chokehold. His tiny mouth opened to bite into Hickorykit, fully intending on drawing blood... Only, his baby teeth suddenly gave way, a fang painfully detaching from his gums. The only blood he had managed to draw had been his own, and that just made his mood all the worse.

Once their tumbling had ceased, Peatkit smacked a paw across Hickorykit's face, only managing to grumbling out his grievances. He'd rather not waste air on the stupid things coming out of his brothers mouth as he opened his to speak, but it seemed he wouldn't have to. Snowkit was quick to correct their foolish brother. Peatkit had experienced first paw that no one respected a kit just because they held such high-ranking blood. But that also didn't make anyone else immune to retaliation; and Peatkit would be letting them know their place once he had more freedom from the nursery.

He shook his pale orange tabby head to remove the dust that built up after him and his siblings little tussel, eyes catching sight of his sister smacking her lips together obnoxiously. His eyes rolled, but it didn't stop him from disappearing into the nursery and returning with a sopping wet ball of moss. His eyes narrowed, something within him wanting so badly to wack the both of them with the wet ball... But he refrained from doing so. Instead peacefully and quietly setting it down for his siblings to take a drink from. He was good brother, after all.
