Faceless Shadow[C]

Quillsplash limped into camp, feeling the thorn that had pierced his pad that morning dig deeper into what was an already hurting and swollen wound. He had originally intended to ignore it, as he did most injuries, but as it became redder and redder as the border patrol continued he knew he had to get it checked. Grumbling, he asked one of the other warriors to take Hedgepaw out for a hunting assesment-- a real pity, since he had already planned to teach her a new battle move-- and now made his way to the medicine cat's den. "Heatherberry?" He called out the she-cat's name, feeling his fur prickle as the name rolled off his tongue. He only knew that she was close to Sablestrike, and that in itself was scary enough.
