Poppyshine

Poppyshine took every opportunity to get out of camp and work, so when one warrior was feeling under the weather, she happily took over in the hunting patrol that they were going to go on. That was how she found herself walking alongside Ravenfall deeper into the territory so they could find some land prey to catch. Their kill pile was full of fish and so it was good to get some variety for the clan.

She would not have been against silence while they hunted, but she knew that that would be in poor taste as the deputy. Poppyshine couldn’t remember the last time she spoke to Ravenfall, but that may have been in part due to the fogginess of her mind. Regardless, she looked at him as they approached the beech copse and meowed, “Have things been going well for you, Ravenfall?”

Poppyshine

Listening to her clanmate talk helped to put her at ease. She relaxed slightly and smiled. “I’ll have to see it some time,” she told Ravenfall. “We can always find very nice rocks in the territory. They are nice to decorate with.” When the question was turned onto her, she tilted her head. She didn’t really want to talk about the difficulties she was having with her own emotions; that was not something a deputy should put on her warriors. She instead said, “I have been alright. Busy, mostly, but it seems things are starting to even out.”
