Typical Day [open]

It was just another day as Nightfoot walked around the borders, making sure that everything was in place just as it should be. Even though they were still being haunted by a badger or fox, Skyclan was finally doing better than it had all leafbare. Today, Nightfoot just kind of felt like chilling. All of the borders were good. Now she wanted to relax outside of the camp for once. Being around some of the sick cats was too stressful. She need to calm down and enjoy the sun. Padding up to the fallen oak tree, she leaped up onto one of the branches gracefully before lying down and looking into the trees that mark Thunderclan's territory. She hoped that she wouldn't run into anyone, but who knew. She just wanted to chill, that was all.

OOC: someone please join. Make any kind of scuffle you want. We need to make things interesting again and fun.

The day was young and the weather pleasant, a perfect time for a stroll. A skyclan warrior had decided too take some time off as well and blow some steam. Her ears pricked forward as she took notice of another skyclan warrior, Nightfoot. A smile spread across the cat's face as she trotted forwards, flicking her tail in greeting. "Hey there Nightfoot" Mistyclaw had mewed a purr rising through her throat. Climbing onto one of the nearest pine-trees and sitting on the lower branches. "Such a typical day, but so beautiful." The warrior had mused her gaze looking at Nightfoot. "So what are you doing out here? Im pretty sure a border-patrol went by, and theres no foxes." Mistyclaw had asked from pure curoisty not trying too seem suspicious or anything.

Looking back at the warrior that approached, Nightfoot flicked the tip of her tail in amusement. "Oh, nothing really. I just need to get out of camp for a little bit. I'm trying not to catch what Featherheart has," she replied, turning back to stare at Thunderclan territory as if she was just expecting someone to show up. She wasn't waiting on anyone, but she didn't want to be too careless. "What are you doing out here?"

"On a stroll." She purred, light green eyes that resembled her mothers brightly glowing. "Its so beautiful out here, only lazy mouse-brains would stay in the camp." She said playfully her gaze following Nightfoots, slightly tilting her head. "Why do you look so weary? Scared a thunder-clanner is gonna trespass?" Mistyclaw had mewed leaping from the branch and skidding next too the black she-cat. Her ears flattened as she had heard about Featherheart. "Oh yeah, featherheart. Sorry about her, is she doing any better however?" Mistyclaw had asked a concerned tone clear in her voice as she looked directly towards the black she-cat.

"I see." Mistyclaw mewed too Nightfoot. She wasn't born as a loner, she was luckily born in skyclan too Fallensnow. Although not everyone seemed so lucky. She felt a certian tension about this topic so she quickly changed it. "Yeah, Thunderclanners unpredictible crow-food." Mistyclaw mewed remembering the stories she was told as a kit by their deputy. Thunderclan as well as Windclan cannot be trusted at all. She gave a warm purr at the words that Featherheart was feeling better. "Thats good!" Mistyclaw piped up rubbing her fur against Nightfoots pelt. "Shes a fighter!! She'll get better soon. So how long have you two known each other? Since you joined Skyclan?"

Blazingheart hid in the underbrush on Thunderclan's side of the Fallen Oak. Oh how badly he wanted to lunge at the one who called Thunderclan crow-food. I'll tear your eyes out, you stupid fox-heart! Go run back to your clan of kittypets! He couldn't help but unsheathe his claws. He purposely stepped on a twig to interrupt their conversation, then he moved to under a bush so that he wouldn't be spotted...hopefully.

The she-cat nodded to Mistyclaw's question before her head instantly shot towards the sound of the snapping twig. Up on her paws in a flash, Nightfoot unsheathed her claws as she looked around to spot who had made the sound. Looking around the area, she couldn't exactly see anything, but as the gentle breeze swirled the air around them, the scent of Thunderclan became surprisingly strong mixing in with the overwhelming smell of the pines. Narrowing her eyes, Nightfoot took a couple of steps forward on her branch. "Who's there?!" she hissed, hackles raised and her tail straight out to keep her balance and hopefully make her look bigger than she actually was.

The snapping of a twig had perked Mistyclaws ears forward as she glanced around wearily - it had too be a thunderclanner this was the border they shared, maybe they've been listening in their conversation. The warriors claws unseathed, giving a wary look towards the older and more experinced warrior. Thunderclan had been keeping their peace for awhile this border skirmish could end it - she didn't know what actions she should take but a thunderclanner shouldn't even be this close too the border.

The warriors fangs bared her hackles rising as she mimicked Nightfoots hostility. "Go ahead and show you're self will you!" She hissed.

Duskfall who'd been patrolling the border along with Blazingheart, when he noticed that his friend was no longer with him on the patrol. At first he gave little thought to it, assuming he saw a mouse or something else to hunt, but the scent of Skyclan wafting over in the air made him rethink his thoughts. He bounded over to nearby Blazingheart, and stalked through the underbrush the rest of the way.

"Blazingheart, what are you doing?" Duskfall hissed barely audibly, claws unsheathed in case the Skyclan cats nearby found them an attacked. With the recent war with Riverclan, and the threat another war with them, they couldn't risk angering Skyclan.

OOC: crap I didn't see this.

IC: "Don't worry, I know what i'm doing," he whispered back. Blazingheart leaped out of the bush, giving away himself. "What are you two doing this close to the border?" He asked suspiciously as he crouched down and narrowed his amber eyes at them. "We don't want a fight, now do we?" Blazingheart straightened up. He had grown strong from all the hunting and fighting he had been doing with his apprentice and for the clan. He tried to make himself look big and stronger then he really was. With a flick of his tail, he motioned for Duskfall to stay back. "I have a patrol with me that is ready to fight if you two don't stay on your side of the border," he hissed. It was a semi-lie. He made it sound like he had two or three other cats with him when he really had one.

Duskfall wanted to take a swipe at Blazingheart's swishing tail for putting him in this awkward spot. While he trusted his long time friend and clanmate, he didn't appreciate the bluff. If things got heated, he'd have to own the bluff and fight the pair of Skyclan cats. While constant fighting with Riverclan, chasing off rouges and hunting had made the brown tom a fierce warrior and hunter, he wasn't interested in testing out his skills today.

The death of Tawnypaw was a tragic one directly linked to his overeagerness for revenge. The loss of the young apprentice taught him humility and that his anger was better placed elsewhere. To fight wasn't always the solution, but all the same, if the Skyclan cats attacked, he was ready to defend his friend and clan.

The she-cat narrowed her eyes at the tom that suddenly jumped out of the bushes. She probably would have been a little more cautious had she not actually been on higher ground than Blazingheart, but being on the branch gave her a slight advantage. "I could ask you the same thing, mouse-brain," she spat, digging her claws into the wood underneath her paws. "Don't you know that you're not supposed to be this close to our border?"

Mistyclaws nose twitched - thunderclan was full of a bunch of fools and mousebrains, if the two tried something it wouldn't go unpunished. She had heard about the sunningrocks battle and how they lost horribly, it would be funny to see them lose a border scuffle as well. "Weak mousebrains don't know what they are getting them-selfs into - don't they Nightfoot?" She mused.

OOC: How does Mistyclaw know there are only two of them? Are you saying she saw through the bluff that easily?
