A particularly large dog has been skulking around Shadowclan! Reports have confirmed that the invader has made a home in the deeper parts of Shadowclan's territory, using its height to navigate the deep waters with ease. A patrol has been sent out to deal with this monster, but they will have to combat both the dog, and the treacherous landscape!
A tall beast stood at its full height among the marshes, wading along in the water that only reached halfway up its body. It was surrounded by tall grasses on one side, and a large stretch of marshy water on the other side. Stalking further into the waters the dog sniffed at the air a few times, scenting something strange in the air.

Larkshine Tier 2 Warrior | Shadowclan | She/Her
Larkshine wadded through the shallower spot of the marsh, swimming slightly when she couldn't touch. She caught whiff of the dog and made it back to dryer land before actually sniffing for the dog. She picked up which direction the dog was heading and followed quietly. It wasn’t long before she saw the large frame of the dog wadding through the marsh and sniffing the air. Did it know the patrol was nearby? Larkshine stalked over to the grassy side of the dog. She waited until the beast’s head was turned away from her before jumping out and digging her claws into the dog and briefly hanging on to its side. Larkshine quickly hopped back into the grass and darted a few fox lengths away in hopes to dog would follow so her and her clanmates wouldn’t end up falling into the deep marsh.
Larkshine used Jumping Strike for -11 HP (8 + 3 for first attack!) and -7 SP
Larkshine: 40 HP / 97 SP (-7) Dog: 89 HP (-11) / 200 SP Discord: ChaoticCrow | Timezone: Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) | Code (c) Kieer

Lilyvalley Warrior | ShadowClan | she/her
"If we did what was easy, then there wouldn't be anything to live for."
Lilyvalley padded alongside Larkshine, making her way through the marsh. This was a journey she never would have been able to make when she had first joined. But since being in ShadowClan, Lilyvalley had filled out a lot, and was finally looking like her old, healthier self. She definitely wasn't the strongest cat in the Clan, she never would be with her injuries, but she was capable of taking care of herself once again.
They walked on in silence, all members of the patrol aware of the danger they were preparing to face. Lilyvalley looked behind her at the apprentice in the group. Despite being trained by the same mentor, Lilyvalley had never spoken to Stagpaw before. Hopefully the patrol could keep the dog's focus on them, she would hate for anything to happen to the tom. (Really she would hate for anything to happen to any of them, but she couldn't deny that the other two members of the patrol were more than capable of handling their own.)
Larkshine had been the first to spot the dog, lunging forward, and Lilyvalley took the time to leap onto it's back, clinging on.
Mud dripped from her fur as she tried to hold the beast down, digging her claws into it's hide.
Lilyvalley has used Leap and Hold, dealing 8 damage and costing 15 stamina. Dog is held for 1 turn.

Without a moment’s hesitation, a third cat seemed to appear from nowhere to plague the beast. Sunflare’s fangs met the dog’s foreleg, drawing delicious blood.
Sunflare uses Snap, dealing 10 damage and costing 7 stamina.
Dog (Pinned) 71/100 HP (-10) 200/200 SP
Larkshine 40/40 HP 93/100 SP
