The moon descends upon the marshes, inviting the shadows residing there to leave their dens for the night. Two of Shadowclan's finest have been sent out to refresh scent markers around the edge of their territory and report any strange occurrences they may find along their path.

A particularly slender shadow coiled itself out of its den, the moonlight glinting off its eyes. Gliding effortlessly across ShadowClan’s camp, it came to a stop by the entrance. The cat seated himself, eyes flickering across the clearing. Where was the rest of his patrol?

Wolfpaw did not want to go on this patrol. He was leaving his family behind. Hedge, Stag, Fern, Blue-- Not even Mama was on it and that made his pelt itch. He trudged through the camp to the shape waiting by the maw, and narrowed his eyes.

"You Sunflare?" He gruffed, staring the tomcat down through fed-up amber eyes. "If  you are, let's go," He would rather not talk. Didn't even know who this cat was. Well, he knew the name. Obviously. Didn't care about much else except getting this over and done quick so he could find his siblings after.
