Although the worst of the sickness had been defeated, some of it still lingered in the air. Thymelight was ready to vanquish it for good. Being back home meant that they had access to more herbs, and they weren't limited to the small stash that the strange territories by the frozen lake had provided them with. She was pleased to know that all of her Clanmates would soon be healed, but the thought of war still plagued her mind. SkyClan would be healthy today, but how long would it last? Whenever she stared at any cat for too long, a vision of them beaten and bloodied flashed in her head. It sent shivers down her spine. The medicine cat let out a shaky sigh as she stared down at her paws. Times were still tough... but she had to put on a brave face.
She poked her head out of the medicine den and quickly looked over the camp. It was alive and bustling, full of life and emotion, and yet nothing felt right. She watched as warriors left camp to hunt for food and apprentices followed their mentors to learn about a new battle technique. She wanted to be happy that everything was normal, but her heart ached. Cats that were alive now could be within StarClan's ranks soon... and war would be the only thing to blame. Bile flooded her throat. How long would it take for life to be happy once again?
"The medicine den is open for all those who are still sick!" She called out, sighing at the fact that she had become an expert at sounding more joyful than she actually was. "Injured cats, too!" She finished hastily before vanishing back into the den.

Wolfblossom's head lifted at Thymelight's call, and she offered the medicine cat a smile and a nod of approval. It was good to see Skyclan on the mend after everything... Stars knew they were going to need everyone as healthy as they could get.
"That means you, Graywind." Wolfblossom gave her daughter a light poke to the side, and the she-cat grumbled in protest, but padded toward the medicine den where Thymelight waited. "Sorry Thymelight... I'n not as sick as I was though, I swear. It's not that bad." The rasp in her breath said otherwise, though.

The sound of Thymelight's voice across camp caught Birdstar's attention. She turned just in time to blink at the end of the medicine cat's tail disappearing into her den. Her expression wrinkled, unable to decide what to display: her relief they were still working hard to cure the sickness that had followed them from the lake, or a grimace for the fact that even returning their health may not be enough to save her Clanmates. Sighing, Birdstar pushed the grim thought aside. Having familiar herbs around again helped to keep her fever at bay so far, but she hadn't gone to any of the medicine cats in pursuit of a proper treatment yet. With Thymelight's offer hanging in the air, she got to her paws and padded over, rumbling a quiet, affectionate greeting to Wolfblossom and Graywind when she was close.

Sunfire felt mostly okay, but the lingering cough had followed him all the way from the lake, so when he heard Thymelight call out, he reluctantly angled towards the medicine den. His sister had beat him here, and had been worse off than him to begin with, so he sat near the entrance and waited for Thymelight to finish with Graywind.

Lightningbreeze rose slowly to her paws with a cough. "I will be so happy to be back to normal," she sighed as she stumbled into the medicine den. "I'll never get sick again. Promise."
