Sweet Venom [Solo]

Ravenpaw had been having these dreams. Dreams of a dark forest. Mist all around with tangles and rolls of brambles and vines. He couldn't see far in front of him. Maybe a couple tail lengths at most. These dreams appeared often, at least when he was first made an apprentice. After a while they slowly seemed to disappear but as of late, they were coming back in full force. More vivid. More real. More rememberable. Until today.

The black tom woke up in the same space again, except this time the area was a clearing. The dirt beneath his paws was a shade of grey and seemed lifeless. As yellow eyes looked around, the apprentice noted that it seemed to be a training hollow. The mist that once swirled around lingered at the edges of this hollow. Twisted roots also rolled at the edges but they weren't under his paws for once. What was this place? Why did he keep dreaming about it? How long until he woke up again? The black tom sighed as he sat down, waiting for time to pass so he would awake again, unsure of how long it would take.

What Ravenpaw wasn't expecting was for there to be nothing in front of him, blink and all of the sudden there was a silver tom in front of him.
