The days had grown colder since they arrived at the lake, the threat of snowfall and ice growing more imminent with every passing day. ShadowClan had found a place to stay in the meantime, a home that was comfortable enough, and now that some dens had been built to keep everyone (and particularly the sick cats) safe and warm, Leopardstar had set out with a hunting patrol. Prey was running well now, but not for much longer; if they wanted to survive, they needed to act quickly.

"Don't go far, but don't crowd each other--we need prey, not near-misses. If you run into trouble, shout. If you hear a shout, run toward it to help."

For her part, the leader immediately focused in on a mouse, stalking slowly toward it.

She missed her target due to a poorly-timed sneeze, and the mouse scampered away, leaving her to hiss in frustration.

Leopardstar failed to catch a Mouse, costing 3 SP!
