Jays sing sorrow songs(o)

Jaysong fresh off the adrenaline of becoming a new warrior, almost felt as if no one could stop him. So with this incredibly reckless mindset, he heads out to go hunting alone. Which let’s just say the narrator thinks this is really stupid of Jaysong. Anyways he finds a good hunting ground, and proceeds to start his hunting solo. However before he can even start, he smells dog, but Jaysong is still in his reckless mindset, thinks he can beat the dog. He watched as the dog started slowly running towards his position.

Jaysong somehow wasn’t fazed as the dog and his eyes met. Which again the narrator thinks Jaysong is being incredibly stupid. Jaysong at least being smart enough to make the first move makes a swipe a the dog. It clearly hit the dog, but it didn’t do anything seemingly to the dog. Then Jaysong finally got his senses back, however a realization was a realization too late. As the dog seemed overjoyed to have a sparring partner. Jaysong quickly looked around, no cat in sight. Within seconds he made a plan. Without any time to think it out, he acts.

Jaysong immediately spit into the dogs eye, then booked it. He ran as fast as he could, even tho he knew he didn’t have a lot of stamina. Now then the narrator finally thinks Jaysong is being smart. With that he runs for a few more seconds, then looks behind him. The dog was only a couple tail-lengths behind him. As if the dog was testing him, to see how long he could last. After a few more seconds, he ran out of energy. Knowing he can’t do anything, he turns around, attempting to dodge the attack the dog seemed to be planning.

Jaysong was terrified, at least he knew cats were close, if cats went hunting in this direction they might see him. He had to immediately dismiss the thought as the dog was within attacking distance. With a quick jolt to the side he attempted to dodge, doing so unsuccessfully as the dog caught his leg. He could almost hear his bone break. It was a painful feeling. He hadn’t really gotten injured as an apprentice just to make things worse. The dog proceeded to throw him in the other direction. He landed on the ground, almost losing consciousness.

Jaysong barely managed to stay awake. He looked at his leg, at least it didn’t look too bad. One second he was looking were his leg was the next the dog was staring right back at him. He attempted to move his unbroken legs, to no avail, as he had used his energy running. He let out a hiss at the dog for a last attempt to get out if the situation, as always in these situations, it didn’t work. The dog had walked up to him biting his neck, the last thing Jaysong heard was the crack of his neck. At this point the narrator, instead of think Jaysong as stupid, now just felt bad. A long life cut short. Alas there was nothing he could do, but watch in sorrow. The next moments Jaysong experienced was looking at the the same stars he saw just a few days an ago as an apprentice.
