Scavenger; Just One [solo herb hunt]

Thunderclan was starving in spirits, hunger and sickness alike; that much was clear. A grim frown made its way up Fawnshine's maw as she forced herself to bite through the cold, traveling across the woodland meager with useful herbs and prey. Colder, harsher Leaf-fall descended upon the forest, covering the five clans in harsh weather she'd only remember a dozen moons ago, when much darker times existed—and harsher seasons meant more scarce supply.

The herbs stuck through small gaps in the wall have now either wilted, faded, or grown too dry for proper medicinal use. Not wanting to have to be too dependent on Echosong to forage for herbs, she took the risk and went, as a proper mentor should, to do the task instead.

Heterochromia eyes scanned the ground for any signs of peeking, possibly useful herbs; and she halted when she spotted a glimpse of one. Juniper berries! Hurrying over to the bush, she gingerly nipped a branch off, avoiding the spiky leaves from getting tangled in her fur, and set it aside. It should be useful for now, especially when cats are often in distress.
