Forest Speak

Silver eyes as wide as the moon itself gazed back at their compatriot in the sky. The stars twinkled at her as her gaze roamed Silverpelt. These cats never gave her odd looks, nor did they speak gibberish at her when she spoke to them. They still ignored her just like most of her clan, but that could be forgiven due to their absolute beauty. Besides, who looked at the stars and expected them to say something? No, Softkit was content with being left on her own.

Though the night was warm it felt empty enough to be cold. All of the warriors had already retreated into their den, same with the apprentices and queens alike. For now it was just her, alone with the countless others that watched over her. It was kind of creepy when she thought about it, but she couldn't be picky with her friends. Could stars be considered friends?

Sandkit move in her nest not being able to sleep. She just had too much energy and couldnt seem to stay still. The speckled she-cat decided to just leave the nursery, and in doing so she noticed softkit looking up at the sky. As the tiny kit was bored she decided it would be fun to play a little sneaky game.

Sandkit slowely, padded towards the unsuspecting kit and when the moment was just right, She pounced! She was of course not big enough to make much difference, her her tiny body did make a thump sound as she landed on softkit. "What are you doing out here?" She mewed, giggling.
