Another day, another herb hunt. Burdockroot trudged through the Deep Marshes with the herb patrol behind her. Glancing back, she stopped so the group can fan out. "Alright! Here's a good spot. If you have any questions or need to talk to me individually, let me know." Her multi-colored eyes scanned around her, looking for herbs herself. Landing on her name sake, Burdockroot happily stalked over to pick the herb.

It was nice to be on a group herb hunt with her mentor. Perhaps it would give the others a chance to speak with Burdock even just a little.

On command, Heatherberry veered off in another direction, green eyes scanning the ground. It was kind of ironic to catch the sight of the bright red holly berries, since she had also found poison on her very first herb hunt with Burdock when she was still Harrierpaw.

Quietly, she carefully picked the berries and stashed them safely within a leaf. She would show it to her mentor, obviously, but no one else had to see.

It had been a while since Crowpsirit had last gone on patrol with the medicine cats, much less with her duties catching up to her during opportunities where she had rest. Still, she treasured the time she had off, deciding it'd be best to help contribute and learn something about herbs or the medicine cats as her clanmates. It could serve useful to know a bit about medicinal herbs, after all, and she figured there wouldn't be any harm in that.

Nodding at Burdockroot's instructions, she hummed and trotted off, carefully scanning the marshes for any signs of helpful herbs. She spotted bright, yellow dandelion-resembling flowers (coltsfoot) at a nearby tail length, and went to gently nip it from the spine for collection.
