Mistwalker had been tasked with leading a patrol. Given that it was greenleaf, she knew that there would be plenty of prey that they could hunt outside of the water. With two apprentices now suited under her charge, it would be for the best that she worked on allowing them the opportunity to hunt on land. Bubblepaw was close to finishing her training, and Scarletpaw was fresh out of the nursery. They'd make a good team if they worked together.

Looking back at her patrol, the feathery molly nodded for them to spread out amongst the beech copse. "Whatever you catch, bring it back here. We will share carrying back prey. Call if you find a predator." With tasks distributed, all it took was one more nod from the molly to allow them to scatter and hunt.

She herself was immediately on the lookout for food, her pale eyes scanning. It was usually easier for her to fish, given that her pelt matched the color of scales and eyes that of water, but it was nice to find prey that she didn't usually eat. Birds in particular were appetising to the molly, and as she heard one chirping nearby, that was all the needed to know to try and catch it. Her gaze seemed to stare it down, watching as it hopped along before... crack!

The snap of a leaf beneath her paw alerted the creature to her presence, and as she lept, the bird skittered just beyond her grasp. Her whiskers twitched with disdain, but she would find something else. It was too skinny of a bird, anyways. She could slay another creature.
