A Hunt to Do [Open]

Kestrelchirp perched at the edge of camp, running his paw over his ear as he waited for his hunting partner. Hopefully, this would be a nice and quick little trip!

It had been a while since Sleepyhollow had been out hunting with her former apprentice. The she-cat approached the Tom and forced a small smile. She needed to get out, needed a distraction. It hadn’t even been three sunrises since Vulturepaw’s death and her feelings were still raw from the loss. But this would be good for her! To be in the company of her other family. At least that was what she was telling herself. “Ready?” She asked, her voice rough assumably from a recent crying session.

In reality she wished it had been her that StarClan had taken. The Dark Forest, she wished it was her who had been taken when Daisybreeze and Russetrye died too. She never could take loss well. And this was no exception.
