Sunlight for a peony >closed<

Peonypaw was taking a nice sunbathe in the patch of sunlight near the nursery. This was her favorite place to relax as the sun it the spot perfectly.  Peonypaw felt the nice breeze rustle through her fur and flower, loving the rare beautiful day.   

Peonypaw looked over seeing a kit next to her. "um...H-hi..." she mewed softly but suddenly another breeze came, this one stronger, and her peony was caught in it. "My peony!"she mewed frantically getting to her paws and quickly catching it in her mouth with a powerful leap.

Peonypaw didnt mind the kit getting her name wrong and instead of correcting her, she let it be. "Its a peony flower, its what im named after." she mewed putting the flower back on her ear. 

peonypaw saw the excitement in the kit but could only sigh. "We have to let them grow, but dont worry, i have something perfect for you. she mewed before padding behind the nursery and a few seconds later coming out wirh a feather in her mouth. "This is a whinchat feather, The perfect pretty flower for the perfect pretty kit." she mewed putting the brown and white feather on the kit's ear.

Peonypaw smiled at the kit when she saw her friend walking towards them. Her friend also still had a flower in her ear and peonypaw smiled in greeting. 

Shrewpaw had been silently observing Peonypaw's interaction with the kit, wondering if it there would ever be a good time to force her way into their conversation. A perfect opportunity did indeed present itself, and Shrewpaw moved to intercept the tiny kit as she began running off. Her gaze was immediately drawn to the feather placed behind the kit's ear, much like the flowers that Peonypaw and Shrewpaw sported. The apprentice flashed a warm smile to Peonypaw, then bent down to examine the pretty amber kitty's feather. "Whatcha got there, little one? It's awfully beautiful."

peonypaw smiled at the exxited kit before looking at shrewpaw. "Im turning into you." she mewed to her friend with a smile, soon all of thunderclan would have a feather or flower on them. 

"Pennypaw?" The name was accompanied with laughter. "Stars that's such a cute nickname! It's a pleasure to meet you Maplekit, I'm Shrewpaw! My, what a pretty flower! So different from all the ones I've seen before and yet so unique!"

"I'm glad to hear it, Pennypaw. Between the two of us we could spread so much joy with our gifts." Peonypaw seemed to have a fascination with feathers, and being a friend to Shrewpaw made the golden molly even more inclined to extend her offer. "Y'know Pennypaw, there's this super secret club for cats that love birds... Would you want to join?" Super secret may not have been the words to use considering just how many cats were part of their crew now. What had started as a tiny club just for her Amberblaze and Cedarstalk had quickly grown in numbers.

Green eyes fell back to the adorable kit. "I'd love for you to join Birdclan too if you'd like. We're always accepting new members!"
