Birdstar
It had been several moons now since Stoneheart joined the warrior's den. Birdstar couldn't blame her sister for taking more time. Mistpaw was quiet, skittish, and her mentor was often sick. Or, missing entirely. Though she looked briefly towards the medicine den, wondering if Dawnfeather was feeling well again, Birdstar didn't slow her paws as she padded across the clearing to jump atop the Tallbranch. Mistpaw had grown and she was ready now– that was all that mattered. She was excited to give the apprentice her well-earned name, to see her continue to grow as a warrior. Clearing her throat, Birdstar called out, "Let all cats old enough to climb the trees gather beneath the Tallbranch for a Clan meeting!"
Mistpaw was plenty old enough to climb the trees, and her ears pricked up at Birdstar's call- even now that she was more accustomed to most of SkyClan, she still tended to avoid the crowd of meetings. Today was no exception: she kept toward the back, curious about the events of the day. Was it going to be a ceremony, or had something important happened recently?

Birdstar
It didn't take long to spot Mistpaw among the crowd, lingering near the fringes. Birdstar watched her while the rest of the Clan settled into place, and when there was quiet, she nodded and flicked her tail toward the apprentice. "Mistpaw, please step forward." Birdstar paused, allowing her a moment to process and make her way through the crowd before continuing on. "StarClan, I call upon you to look down on this apprentice. She's trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in turn. Mistpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Mistpaw's heart skipped a beat as she heard her own name- there was a moment where she stood perfectly still, processing what had been said, before taking a single small step forward.
This should be a celebratory moment; her long apprenticeship, dragged out by her often ill mentor and her own incompetence, finally drawing to a close. But it was also frightening: there was so much she couldn't predict and didn't already know. Apprenticeship wasn't easy, either, but it was familiar.
With all those thoughts, she hesitated for a moment, but recalled what the StarClan cat had told her.
You can't let your fear rule you.
She took another step forward, this one more sure of herself.
"I do."
Her voice rang out across the camp, not quite loud but very clear.
There was a moment, however brief, where Mistpaw stalled, but she moved to the Tallbranch's shadow regardless. Her answer was crisp, and Birdstar nodded again to her. "Then I grant you your new name as a warrior. From this day on, you will be known to all as Mistflower. SkyClan honors your patience and compassion." With the last formal words spoken, she made her way down to touch her nose to the new warrior's head. "You'll be a good warrior, Mistflower. I look forward to knowing you better as one. Have an easy vigil." Birdstar murmured before stepping away to join the crowd in cheering Mistflower's name.
Foxtrot exited the medicine den as he heard his leader's call. The warrior had spent most of his free time curled up against his mother, comforting her in the way she comforted him as a kit. He remembered the way she wrapped herself around his small malnourished form and took him under her wing. Cared for him better than Rita ever could, he fondly mused. While Dawnfeather was ill, he made an effort to invite Mistpaw on his own outings and while he was no older nor any wiser than his former denmate - he could teach a cat how to tree fly just as good as anyone.
The black-furred tom took a seat next to Mistpaw as Birdstar called her name, his own heart skipped a beat as he looked from Birdstar to Mistpaw. You got this! he silently cheered as he smiled a goofy, encouraging smile. Becoming a warrior was a monumental moment, something that didn't come around twice. Unless you were to get a name change of course. Then technically you would've had two.. Foxtrot shook his head. Focus! The warrior moved forward to give the newly named warrior a bump on the shoulder with his own, "Congrats Mistflower!" he purred before stepping back to allow the rest of his clanmates to congratulate the she-cat.
Stoneheart found her way over to Mistpaw's side as Birdstar called the clan together, keeping the curiosity she felt off of her face out of habit. A small smile twitched at the edge of her mouth as Foxtrot sat with them as well. He was hardly much older than them, but the way the tom had helped with her training while Dawnfeather was ill had not gone unnoticed.
Mistpaw was called forward, and Stoneheart was unable to hide the wide grin she gave her sister. Her warrior ceremony, finally! Stoneheart had been wondering when it would happen, and now that it was the usually stone-faced warrior was brimming with excitement.
"Mistflower!" A loud purr rumbled in her throat as she padded up to the newly-named warrior. "I'm proud of you, sister." She affectionately bumped Mistflower's shoulder with her head, "I know you have your vigil tonight... We'll need to go on patrol together soon." She was reluctant to step back and allow the rest of the clan to congratulate her, but it was what Mistflower deserved, she knew.
Marigoldmask had joined in on the crowd, certainly excited to see a new clanmate being able to join the warrior's den. With a vibrant smile, the molly joined in on the cheers. "Mistflower! Mistflower!" It was a rather pretty name for an equally pretty molly, the orange-and-white warrior concluded. She would let her family celebrate first, and then step in to offer her congratulations. After all, it was a rather significant moment for the young, newly-named warrior. Naturally, she'd likely want to celebrate with those closest.
