What are the duties of a medicine cat? : While treating physical ailments and giving spiritual guidance are a huge part of a medicine cats role, mental health assistance/checking in on clanmates is also a vital part! Having your clan mentally AND physically fit are a must if you want them to thrive!! Moonstones and herb hunts are a given, but are a major role as well.
What would you do with this position? : For Harriertalon, I feel she would thrive in this position. She loves ShadowClan dearly, and wouldn't hesitate to help other cats in the forest as well. Within reason, of course. She will fight for her loved ones, but she'd rather be there for them before, after and during their lows to help raise them back up. Well acquainted with death, Harrietalon will do anything and everything in her power to to make sure no one else has die without a fighting chance whatever it takes. (She also hates StarClan and that's funny to me lol)
For me personally? I can't really say. I've never even been in an HR position since 2013-2014 as deputy which was sadly cut short for irl reasons, and even then HR positions have evolved. I'd definitely be very involved in things, and eager to learn more. I know the duties of a medicine cat, but experiencing it first hand would be exciting for me as I've never had the opportunity to be in the position.
Why do you think you deserve this position? : I returned from a long few year's hiatus and have been having the time of my life rping as cats again. I've been active since my return in October (maybe a little too active sometimes) and I have no intention of leaving anytime soon! I would love the opportunity to be in an HR position at least once during me resurrection here. Especially in one of my favourite clans. I absolutely will be interacting with others a lot more in this position.
