What are the duties of a medicine cat?: To be a bridge between the clans, and StarClan. To protect, heal, and guide their clan not just in matters of health and safety, but also to aid the leader and deputy in making tough decisions. Medicine cats are tied to one clan, yes, but their goal overall is to aid all five clans, and sometimes to be a voice of reason, or a mediator, in times of strife.
What would you do with this position?: Honestly? It's hard to say. I have never played a medicine cat before, and in fact, Wolfstar was my only HR ever on WCC. I do know the duties of a medicine cat, obviously, from being a part of this community for a while, but I would need to take some time and learn the ins and outs of the position, and I'm excited to try.
Why you think you deserve this position?: Since I came back to WCC after my few-month absence, I've really fallen back into the swing of things. I have a lot of characters, and balancing them has been a delicate act at times, but I think I've done it really well. Smokestep, I think, is uniquely (read: solely) fit for a role as medicine cat. I kind of loosely created her around the idea, since we didn't have a MCA at the time of her creation, and in playing her I've found that it really just fits. I'm super excited to get the opportunity to possibly try something new on WCC, but if Smoke doesn't win, that's okay too. There's plenty of room for character development! :)
