Stormwatcher laid in his nest. His favorite place to be as he dozed off for his 2nd .. no 3rd nap of the day.
He was exhausted. And to be fair, for once he kinda was justified in it. The fight with the foxes was hard on everyone and he had worked hard to defend the camp. He hoped that for once he would be allowed to just rest and not be bothered. After all, he did just defend camp from a major attack.
He heard pawsteps outside and groaned internally expecting an assignment was comign his way. But the breeze soon after revealed the identiy to be that of his former apprentice Stoneheart.
There wasn't really anyone Stormwatcher gave two mouses tails about: EXCEPT for Stoneheart (and ok maybe possibly bird and wolf?)... as much as he hated to admit it training her had made him actually feel something again. He hated that it had. After losing his first family he wanted no such vulnerabilities. It was alot easier to not care than to care.
"what do you want?" he huffed accompanied by a lazy yawn. Even if he did care about her, he didn't have to show it right?

Stoneheart was grateful that their missing clanmates had been freed and returned to Skyclan, and she was almost as happy to be back in camp. After the trek to fourtrees, getting grabs by twolegs and trying to avoid them while freeing the captured, and everything else... She was tired, she had to admit. She padded to the warriors den, ducking inside. Her former mentor Stormwatcher was there... No real surprise. And already so grumpy, when she hadn't even said anything?
"I wasn't coming in here to see you. Relax." Stoneheart huffed at him, "...Sorry." She added half-heartedly, making her way to her own nest. Her fur was still ruffled, and she wanted nothing more than to get rid of the faint scents that clung to oher pelt and get rid of the feeling of the twoleg's paws around her midsection. Eugh.

He wrinkled his nose a bit... ick that twoleg stink was already smelling up their den. He frowned a bit rolling his eyes "you stink of twoleg" he complained. Was he in a grumpy mood? yeah but that was because their camp got raided by a bunch of foxes... so understandably so kinda understandable perhaps.
However, Stormwatcher was surprised she wanted to see him? He sat up a bit still dazed from his snooze but awoke with a stretch. "hmm? what's wrong?" he asked doing his best to keep the concern out of his voice. Stoneheart seeking him out?? Something really must be bothering her for her to do that... Had something gone wrong?
.... Had someone hurt her?? If someone had hurt her who would he have to bury?
He narrowed his eyes and raised one a little. He perfered to stay out of clan drama but so help him if this was about some dumb tom who broke her heart... be the last mistake that tom would make.

Stoneheart's tail twitched at his comment. Oh, she knew she smelled of twolegs. "They tried to grab me twice while I was freeing cats from their traps." She shivered, beginning to quickly smooth down her fur. "And they had a bunch of dogs with them. We drove them all off, though."
She wasn't sure why Stormwatcher thought something was wrong. Unless he'd taken some other meaning from her words, which Stoneheart wasn't sure was possible. "Nothing's wrong." She rolled her eyes, "But what was that about foxes attacking camp earlier?"
