Fuzzpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Shrikestar was getting more used to calling the clan over for ceremonies at the Highstones, as strange as it was at first. The ShadowClan cats they were sharing territory with didn't even bother looking over anymore. "WindClan, to me!" It was time for another ceremony.

Letting out a yawn and having just awoken from a nap, Fuzzpaw’s short ears perked at the sound of Shrikestar’s call. What could the leader want this time of day? Hopefully he wasn’t about to tell them they needed to move their camp yet again… Pushing himself up, the sleepy tom made his way over to the edge of where his clanmates began to gather. He didn’t bother to tame his nest-head, seeing as though his pelt didn’t usually need too much work with it’s fuzzy nature. If he was lucky, this meeting would be a quick one.

Russetrye dragged herself over, eyelids drooping and fur an absolute mess. Was Sleeps grooming Fuzz? Heh. Definite crush material. Teasing material. Eh. She was tired. The red-pelted app- wait, no- she was a warrior- plopped down to her friend(s)- maybe maybe maybe. “Oh. Should I groom my pelt?” She glanced down at herself- heh. She could pass for a bramble. “Stayed up too late listening to elders’ tales. ‘M tired.” she added belatedly

Shrikestar looked over the clan, then specifically at Fuzzpaw. "Fuzzpaw, step forward." He waited until the rotund apprentice waddled over. "Fuzzpaw, do you promise to uphold the code and defend WindClan, even with your life?"

Ears perking as Shrikestar called his name, Fuzzpaw turned his gaze to the leader. Of course he wanted him, how perfect. Letting out a sigh, he stood up from where he sat and made his way a bit closer to the older tom.”Yeah,” he mewed in a fairly nonchalant tone, trying his best not to let Sleepyhollow’s grooming bother him, though as quickly as she began she stopped, thank the stars. He didn’t mind her touch, but with so many cats staring, he didn’t need any more attention on him than was already there.

Well, that was... something. Shrikestar raised an eye, but he shouldn't have expected anything else. It was kind of funny in a way, if only it didn't involve the safety of his entire clan. He would have to speak with Fuzzpaw's mentor about how his training had gone. "Then with StarClan's blessing, I give you your warrior name. From now on, you will be known as Fuzzface. Continue to protect WindClan, and WindClan will protect you in turn."

A warrior? In all honesty he’d forgetting about earning his new name seeing as though he was still just the same as he always was, but supposed better now than never. Fuzzface… a fitting name, seeing as though he was fuzzy and well, he had a face. Or something like that. Sitting down, he listened as cats chanted his name, though the only thing on his mind now was wondering could he grab a snack and take another nap.

Batsong went over to her clanmates and settled in next to Russetrye and Sleepyhollow... well at least Sleepyhollow had her pelt in good order... Russetrye's however...? Brambles in it??

She sighed grooming at it. It didnt suprise her all that much, Russetrye would be the one of the new warriors to have brambles all up in her fur probably from some adventrue she was out doing.

still, the med cat did her best to keep care of her friend as she waited to see what was up with this meeting.


Her ears perked listening as Fuzz was now named a warrior.

She grinned doing her best not to giggle at the new name... Fuzzface? awwee it fit him really well it was cute in a funny kinda way.

She purred with a nod congratulating him
