An Expedition and a Herb Hunt [Closed]

Burdockpaw stood in front of a small group of cats in Highstones. Batsong had agreed to go with her down to ShadowClan territory to search for herbs. Fuzzybelly was sick, leaving the weight of the clan on her shoulders. Her name should be given soon. A small pile of herbs rested at her paws. Not a lot, but some of the strength herbs usually given to travel to Highstones. Now, it was to travel back. Singedfox, Iceheart, and Swiftheart also stood there, waiting to be told what to do. With a nod, she sorted out the herbs before turning to Batsong. "I know it is not a full dose, but it is what we have to spare." With that, she leaned down and lapped up her own herbs, unphased by the bitterness. Patiently, she waited for the others to do the same before leading the group down the path, back to ShadowClan territory. This herb hunt would serve two missions. Herbs, for one. And perhaps they could find traces of Nightstar. A glimpse at the territory isn't unfounded, either. She didn't even look at Iceheart. She was over that stupid crush, anyway... A friend. At least, Burdockpaw hoped she was redeemable enough to have one.

Singedfox slyly worked his way into this patrol. He was tired of Highstones and the constant wind. Plus, he'd get to brag about a heroic mission to check out the territory. Learning about herbs wouldn't be a bad thing either. Intelligence was the best way to a she-cat's heart, afterall. Knowing things was the ultimate victory. He ate his herbs with an air of self-confidence, vowing to not wince during the conpsumption. Alas, he failed. But a quick glance around let him know he was not the only one, and nobody probably noticed. Good. He had to be seen as perfect at all times. With a sly smirk tossed towards Swiftheart, Singedfox trotted after Burdockpaw with his tail slinked into a confident S.
