While she was a leader at all times of the day, there was more to her role. She also was a mentor, a mother. Those roles never died away either, they were simply ones that she had to make time for. Which was exactly what she would continue to do as the life of leadership continued to settle in for Mottlestar. Happily, the molly had peeked her head into the apprentice's den. "Stormypaw, meet me by the camp entrance. It's training time!" Her small frame had meant she was more than able to fit in, and slip right back out, without stirring too many of Thunderclan's apprentices. While their Clan was smaller than she would have liked, it didn't make them any less mighty.
The tortoiseshell waited for her apprentice to heed her summons, before rising to her paws. "Welcome. We'll get started with a small tour of the territory, then start working on some hunting skills. How does that sound for a first outing?" There was only one word to describe her tone: warm. Long had she come from being the shy she-cat who fretted over every Clanmate that she could find. Now, while she still fretted over every clanmate she could, she still could interact with them. No, she did more than interact with them - she led them. It still baffled her mind how she came from being the small apprentice, to being the cat that they all looked up to for answers and guidance. But just as she had grown from roots, so would Stormypaw.
