The sisters shared a worried look before Molepaw hurried right over to help out—Briarpaw was hot on her heels.

❒ Her heart pounded in her chest as she watched Molepaw throw herself at the porcupine. She didn't waste any time herself and struck the spiny predator with a flurry of well-aimed claws. She sliced it a few extra times before making a hasty retreat. She'd rather not get quills embedded in her skin.

It felt like Stormsong had barely walked away before he was screaming across the forest. He muttered a quiet thanks, and Dayquill was content to turn around and continue wandering in search of prey. But no sooner than the younger warrior was out of sight, Molepaw and Briarpaw were tearing past to join his pained cries, and Dayquill was hurrying after them.

As they approached, he skidded to a stop. Where had Stormsong found a porcupine, of all animals? Wherever he dragged it out of was no matter; they had to drive it back. Gathering his weight, Dayquill waited for an opening then pounced. His shoulder collided with the porcupine's, and that put him just close enough to rake his claws across its quilless head before maneuvering out of the way before it could scratch him back.

Dayquill used Jumping Strike on the Porcupine, dealing 8 damage and costing 7 SP.
