Hazelkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Wide eyes scanning over the camp, Smallbean stood on top of the Tallrock, ready to begin another apprentice ceremony. "All cats old enough to run the moors gather around the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Her fur was neatly tucked back, her kin well aware of the event that was to occur today; even if the calico molly remained rather clueless herself. She stumbled out into the clearing a little awkwardly, paws tripping over seemingly nothing, nervously looking at the deputy-- wondering if she, at 6 moons, would be allowed to run the moors. Or at least join the meeting.

Smallbean smiled at the sight of the young molly. "Hazelkit, please step forward. You have now reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From now until you become a warrior, you will be known as Hazelpaw. I will be your mentor." Leaping down from the Tallrock, he touched noses with his new apprentice, meeting her gaze with a smile. "Training begins at dawn tomorrow."
