Marshmallow had felt stuck in a maze-like dream. It was confusing, and yet she couldn't quite remember what she had done in the dream moments before. Her dream was constantly cold, the same freezing temperature she had felt just before everything faded to black right next to Scorchtalon. It was almost a nightmare as she slept, shapes that didn't really belong, eerily cat-like figures that just... Weren't quite there. Then, she was falling.
She kept falling.
And falling, and falling.
She didn't know what was happening, everything was so fuzzy... And there was still a faint ringing in her ears.
And then...
Multicoloured eyes blinked open quickly, with a sharp, surprised breath. The coldness that had once surrounded her body faded, but she still felt numb in her legs and she was in so much pain. She almost shut her eyes again... No. She couldn't. She wouldn't. Marshmallow forced herself to stay in the present, at least until that ringing stopped. Her vision was blurry, she could only make out shapes, still. "Is... Anyone there..?" She mewed, slowly, forcing herself to use the higher-pitched voice... even if it hurt. Just a little longer...

| willowkit heard a noise inside the medicine den. he shouldn't check what it is. he wants to know what it is. well, the rules don't make sense anyway, he thought to himself, and the small tom oushed his way into the den. he caught sight of a black-and-white she-cat. she looked like she was in pain. Willowkit took a deep breath.
"Do you need me to fetch the medicine cats... uh, Your Ladyship?" he asked clearly, a bit awkward in the end. what was he supposed to call older warriors again? his mind went blank. quickly, he sank into a bow. was he overdoing it? ______________________________________ |
