Bright New Day (Open)

Ashstorm was laying in the shade of the trees on this warm day.  Her tail lay to around the side of her, loosely resting over her paws.  Her head was up, and she looked around camp.  She could almost not believe everything that had happened recently, but she was happy that things finally appeared to be back to normal.  The grey she-cat felt so overwhelmed, but now everything seemed fairly peaceful.  She was, of course, always stressed and nervous for what else may come, but she also realized that all the worrying in the world could not change a thing.  So, right now she just decided to rest and talk with her clanmates.

It was nice, seeing camp more.. normal, since everything had happened. Although Lichenpaw couldn't convince any of the older warriors to bring him along on a patrol, maybe it'd be nice staying within camp. Besides, it was getting warmer and warmer- might as well enjoy all the shade! "Hello!" chirped Lichenpaw, approaching the deputy easily. Ashstorm was Beechfang's sister-- his kin! Reaching the she, a question began to formulate in the apprentice's mind. "..Is it cool being deputy?" he questioned, turning his head slightly; "I mean, deciding all the patrols, and helping the leader with everything.. It sounds awesome!"
