Frostgaze leapt up onto the Jaggedrock, quietly watching the clan mill about before he called a meeting. "All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, gather in the shadow of Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Memories of their battle with the Dark Forest still fresh in his mind, the tom hoped that a new warrior would be just what the clan needed to begin truly healing from the experience.
Echopaw pulled himself from the apprentices den at the call of his deputy. A small groan escaping the tom. He didn't want to be getting out of his nest right now but he couldn't ignore the call of a meeting. So he approached the meeting spot and took a seat.

Frostgaze watched the tom exit the Apprentice's Den, and as soon as he had taken his seat, he began the ceremony. "ShadowClan! I've summoned you here today to witness the naming of a new warrior. Echopaw, please step forward." Before Frostgaze continued, he waited for the apprentice to move forward. "I call upon all those present and watching to gaze upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of our noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in her turn. Echopaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Echopaw didn't think it was time already but hearing his name called was something unbelievable. He didn't really know what to think but he had a bright look on his face for the first time in a while as he stepped forward. The tom glanced around at the other cats around him, taking in their expressions for a moment, before turning his attention back to Frostgaze. " I do." It was such a simple statement but it held so much weight behind it. For him anyway, he knew what he was saying and was intending to follow through with his oath.
As he heard the words, Frostgaze gave a nod. "Then it is my honor to name you a warrior before all witnesses present. Echopaw, from this day forward you will be known as Echomist. ShadowClan honors your patience and resilience, and we are proud to welcome you as a warrior in our ranks." Quietly leaping from the Jaggedrock, Frostgaze rested his head upon his apprentice's, finishing out the ceremony.
MARSHMALLOW - Marshmallow sat down beneath the Jagged Rock. She had told Frostgaze that she believed Echopaw was ready to become a warrior recently, so maybe this would be her apprentices ceremony? She had a look around, trying to spot her apprentice before she spotted the tortoiseshell tom in the crowd. Her ear flicked as Frostgaze started speaking again and she turned her full attention to the deputy.
So I was right! She purred as she watched her apprentice step up. I'm proud of being able to train him better than Snowfoot. It was... Fun. She waited for Echopaw to say the words before looking up at Frostgaze again as her apprentice gained his warrior name.
After Frostgaze was done, she padded over to her... former... apprentice. "Echomist! Echomist! Congratulations, you deserve it!" She purred. "I hope you enjoy your warriorhood!" Marshmallow added, smiling softly at him.
Harepaw chanted the new warrior's name with the rest of the clan, happy to see her brother moving up in the ranks. "Congratulations, Echomist!" Harepaw grinned as she approached her brother after the ceremony had concluded. It wouldn't be long before her own warrior ceremony, she just knew it!

Mistyfalcon had sat quietly near the edge of the crowd, dull, patchy fur easily lost in the shadows as the still much-too-thin tom watched the ceremony. Dull eyes brightened as his son was called forward, pride evident on his scarred face as the warrior ceremony proceeded.
"Echomist, congratulations." A raspy, disused purr rumbled in Mistyfalcon's chest as he approached the newly named warrior once Marshmallow had moved on. He hadn't been thrilled about his son's mentor, but today wasn't about her and he'd put his focus where it belonged.

Leopardsun chanted her friend's name with the rest of ShadowClan, celebrating his ceremony. "Echomist!"
She fought the instinct to playfully nudge him- boundaries- and settled for nodding pleasantly. "It'll be nice to be sharing a den again," she said simply.
