| Yet again, Minnowfin found himself jumping up onto the well-worn boulder that was Highrock. By now, most kits probably knew the call by heart. Waiting for everyone to gather, he began. "Let all cats of Thunderclan gather below Highrock for a clan meeting." This was the fourth kit, he noted. |

| Her ears perked at the now familiar sound of Minnowfin's voice yowling for the clan to gather. Comfreykit hurried out of the nursery, her tail waving high in the air. Today another littermate would become an apprentice, another sibling to celebrate for. She sat down next to her kin that had yet to earn mentors and new names, eager to meow her congratulations to them like she had done again and again. ______________________________________

| Most of the clan had gathered and he would continue. Eyes met the gaze of the she-kit and he gave her a gentle smile. "Comfreykit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Comfreypaw. Your mentor will be Stoatstar. I am sure he will do his best to pass down all he knows to you." Jumping down from Highrock, he joined in the cheering of the newly named apprentice. |

| Comfreykit glowed as bright as the sun, her eyes locking with Minnowfin's in wonder. She now knew how all her brothers had felt. It dawned on her how momentous this occasion actually was. Starting now she would learn everything about Thunderclan! She would get to learn how to be a fierce warrior, how to hunt for her clanmates, how to defend her clan and help them thrive. And better yet, Stoatstar is my mentor! The molly felt like the luckiest cat in the world. And! And I get to train with Daykit! Oh Starclan this is fantastic! She smiled like she hadn't before, feeling more overwhelming excitement than all those days as a kit spent learning about her beloved clan. She was officially on the path to becoming a Thunderclan warrior. ______________________________________
