Batkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Shrikestorm moved to the top of Tallrock, calling down to the clan. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Batkits ears twitched she heard the call from inside the nursery the shy kit walked out looking up at the tallrock at the deputy. She sat close to her mother wondering what this was all about

Shrikestorm looked down at Batkit, smiling warmly. "Batkit, you have reached the age of six moons. You are now ready to become an apprentice. Until the day you are ready to become a warrior, your name will be Batpaw. I will be your mentor." Shrikestorm jumped down to touch noses with the apprentice: his first apprentice as a deputy.
